We discuss the May 16th City Council meeting and Kevin’s piece ‘Test of Leadership.’ We talk through how the meeting was conducted, the balance of the community response, and the picture going forward about how Hilliard’s residents can feel represented under the present conditions and also go about building new tools to deal with various problems - worldly or local. We also discuss the process chain of city administration in this case and whether or not residents can feel empowered with regard to their elected representatives given city responses.

Hilliard City Council President Cynthia Vermillion will not step down, she reiterated May 13, after receiving sharp criticism but also support to stand her ground after demands from the Jewish Community Relations Council to resign.
